I take care of my grandkids during the day and it’s go mode all day. Mine are 2 months, 2 year old, 3 year old , a 5 year old and an 8 year. With that many children you have to keep them busy doing stuff. Plus I have to feed and take care of baby, prepare breakfast and lunch, and potty training the two toddlers. But I just thank God that he gives me patience and a cheerful attitude and the physical ability to do this. I LOVE kids!

I loved The Moongarden - I need to get the sequel. I would add Starless Ocean to the list - I didn't particularly care about the characters but the writing is absolutely beautiful.

I loved The Forest of Vanishing Stars, though my favorite Kristen Harmel is The Book of Lost Names.

I did a reading challenge like that last year. I noticed that I had several books with “lies”, “liar”, and “lying” in the title. I decided to read them all back to back. It was fun. I got on well with all but one of the books. It quenched my thirst for thriller/mystery/suspense type books.

I have The Giver of Stars on my TBR. I thought of Where the Forest Meets the Stars we read for book club. I have Wandering Stars by Tommy Orange out from the library I'm hoping to read this month!

Stardust by Neil Gaiman. I like the book, but this is one of those rare instances where I actually prefer the movie. The Giver of Stars was also a 5 🌟 read for me. I even used informational passages in my classes, and the students were fascinated at the background. Most students have grown up with school libraries and access to books (and sadly haven't taken advantage of that advantage/freedom...whole other soapbox). I want to read Where the Forest Meets the Stars by Glendy Vanderah and Number the Stars by Lois Lowry (a Holocaust book).

I’m going to try Sparks Like Stars but I’m also planning on reading Susan Meisner’s Stars Over Sunset Boulevard 💕📚

Star books I've read: The Fault in our Stars by John Green, The Giver of Stars by JoJo Moyes, and Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli for the MAD (mothers and daughters) book club. I still want to read Number the Stars by Lois Lowry. I'm going to guess the word(s) book or library for the most used word in titles you own. Although I thought 'orphan' was a sure bet.

A recent favorite read of mine is To Sleep in a Sea of Stars, by Christopher Paolini…so good! Thanks for another fun video!

The only book in your stack that I've read is The Giver of Stars. Otherwise, I've read the middle grade graphic novel When Stars are Scattered by Victoria Jamieson. On and, Number the Stars by Lois Lowry.

I recommend When Stars are Scattered by Victoria Jamieson. It is ranking in my top three books of this year. Moongarden sounds like a must read to me.😊 Thank you for such an interesting list of books. I double checked the trigger warnings for Starfish and it is listed as a young adult book in Goodreads. It does sound like an important story for adults to read. Handing the subject matter of Child Sexual Abuse to a middle grader who may be hiding a very painful secret doesn’t sound advisable to me. I stay away from this subject matter now and I’m heading toward my 70th birthday next June. 😊

Oh I love this - books with the same word in the title. I must have missed the one where people guessed the words. Giver of Stars in on my TBR. I read the Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek. It was the book I picked for my Historical Fiction Bookclub to read a while ago. I became fascinated with the Pack Horse Libraries. I even found a bunch of kids books about the subject and checked them out of the library to bring to our meeting when we discussed the book. Can't wait for the next video about books with ________ in the title.
